In general, no building permits are required. However, some local regulations may impose specific constraints that should be checked with the community to which you are attached.

The installation of our flexible tanks requires a perfectly flat and horizontal surface with the empty dimensions of the tank + 2.00 m in length and width.
The platform must be targeted at the level. It must be clean and stable, without perforating elements. It must be able to support the weight of the full tank without collapsing (~ 2.1 tonnes per m2) or eroding.
A compacted gravel bed is recommended to ensure a stable platform (thickness to be defined by the Public Works company to ensure the required bearing capacity). A top coat of rolled sand (type 0/4) ~ 10 cm thick is then required to avoid punching.
It is recommended to drain the platform if it is built on impermeable ground. The installation of a geotextile (“bidim” type) between the structuring materials and the rolled sand is strongly recommended. This geotextile can be added to your order by us.
Any above-ground connection to a flexible tank must be made using a flexible pipe.

Ideally, it is recommended to fence off the area where the tank is installed to limit access to authorized persons.

Some installations may be compatible with financial assistance. It is therefore advisable to check with the authorities before starting your work.

You have the possibility to install your flexible tank in the crawl space or under the terrace of your house. Depending on the space available, our sales department can offer you the most suitable tank. Our tanks are delivered folded and rolled and are therefore accessible through a possible access hatch to the crawl space.

The installation of our flexible tanks requires a perfectly flat and horizontal platform, a clean (without perforating elements) and stable floor, with the dimensions of the vacuum tank. This platform must be able to support the weight of the full tank without collapsing or eroding. In case of unevenness of the ground, it is recommended to use a geotextile to avoid premature wear.

Once the surface is ready, you can deploy your tank before connecting it to your water supply (gutter collector, network connection or other). Find all the steps for installing your tank in the installation manual provided for this purpose and delivered with your tank.

Our gutter collector is designed for a roof of approximately 80m2. To define the exact location of the collector, you must match the overflow of this device with the top level of the tank to avoid any risk of overpressure. The installation instructions supplied with your tank will allow you to connect the gutter collector correctly.

A rodent staircase, a board, or a plastic trellis… can be placed on the walls of a retention to allow a rodent that has fallen into it to exit. This will prevent it from nibbling at the installation to hopefully come out.

Follow our installation instructions: Our specific retention sheet will already allow you to find out about the conditions related to installation.

Discharge trucks push the liquid fertilizer into the tank with air. It is possible to observe a decrease in the height of the tank the next day and the days following the filling, the time until the degassing is complete and also the time for the technical fabric to relax and find its seat.
