In this factory producing mayonnaise, ketchup, milk-based desserts, yogurt, and tomato paste, the tanks are used to store raw water chlorinated at 3 ppm, which is then filtered for food production and used as a buffer water storage for the production unit.

Filling and emptying are carried out continuously via a network of automatic pumps/valves and high and low level controls with flag level indicators.
